Tried to update about the construction problems near my property on the existing thread but wont let me post pictures. Trying again! Anyone have any comments on the photos? It appears he has no intention of hauling off the remains of the 100 year old laurel, the piles of wood, much rotted, have been stored there for years and recently uncovered from the blackberries etc. This is what he has told neighbors he will be building with. I dont know how much bulldozing work was done under the large evergreen on the south west corner. Waiting to hear back from a law firm. This evening the owners brother told me that they will be building a deck all the way to the western property line, the area that was NOT to be exacted at all. Today was another ugly encounter with the excavator. He told me I had no right to photograph and called it harassing. I was in the street! He told me to get an attorney. That I would have to pay his attorneys fees also. Said that the city inspectors think there is something wrong with me for calling them and also the police. These men are well versed in lying and intimidation. Later today there was another inspection, they failed and are subject to s stop work order if the problems are not corrected TESC Oct 13, 2014 Failed RECKERM 10/13/14 MSR: Met with owner, excavator, and geotech special inspector; install high-visibility fence to delineate non-disturbance area as shown on plans; no stockpiling, grading, clearing or grubbing outside that area. Cover the disturbed areas with straw/plastic or equal (per geotech engineer); silt fence and rock entrance on east side. A revised site plan for 3026 S Dawson St; and permit for grading and re-vegetation on south lot are required. Implement corrections today. Non-performance may result in stop work order.
