Tripadvisor Review - Nice to be appreciated, thank you. “Clean & quiet drink in the heart of Bangkok” 4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014 NEW Slotted quietly 50m down the lane of Soi 14 directly underneath the Asoke BTS stop in the heart of Bangkok is a wonderful posh bar & restaurant of Hemingways. Soi 14 is almost a forgotten lane close to the Sheraton Grande Hotel and opposite Terminal 21. Clean & reasonable priced the bar offers a selection of snacks and full service meals inside aircon or outside under fans. It seats about 60 people ground floor and has an upper deck for another 40 people - perfect for group gathering or a private party. Beer on tap was unavailable the night I visited but at least the staff said that to each guest upon handing out the menus - most unusual in Bangkok as you normally order something only to be told 10 min later its not available! WiFi is available but staff had to search around for the password. Despite its location close to the Asoke/Terminal 21 intersection its surprisingly quiet place with lots of greenery around to absorb the noise and usual Bangkok smells. Also a great family place absolutely clean and no girlie bar effects.
