Trivia question.........Before televised talent shows the precursor were sponsored by radio. One such show that aired in 1930 was the Major Bowes Amateur Hour it was a very successful show, much like todays American Idol or The Voice. In 1935 a group called The Hoboken Four from New Jersey successfully made it onto the show. The fans called in or mailed their votes and the Hoboken Four managed to receive just over 40, 000 votes enough to win first place and a six mouth touring contract. One of these young men went on to have a better than average career. Who is he?
