True story, entered a tournament at riverfront sports complex, directed by J.Bucci (so called local basketball guru, lmao) & backcourt hoops where they charge an enormous amount of money to train,develop, & play in tournaments. He thought we were sweet & scheduled us as his tm first game. I get to RF j.B is sitting at entrance on computer, I walk by go to my bench, break from huddle hes deep in the corner on his teams side (keep in mind the team has a coach in the bench, were beating them, but nit by alot, but my players were making his players look like they never played, all in front of the parents who are looking for a return on their investment, hes now in the corner yelling instructions to players, we pick it up on D every time I hear his voice, he now moves from corner to the bench, we continue doin us, hes now yelling at the players & coach (if u kno me that just made me pick up the intensity on O & D) he seen how bad we were making them look he started taking to the refs reminding them of who they worked for ( good thing 1 ref wasnt gonna sell his integrity & promise to be neutral during competitive competition, thanks Humphriess. b/c all other local refs prolly would of sold out, my bad they would of) seeing that only 1 ref listen to his demand & it wasnt working, so he started yelling at the refs, making himself look unconfident about his training &development skills. We win & I couldnt make the next game, but I just knew they were gonna do some slick Scranton we kno we cant beat you shit so take this. So I canceled my commit and showed up a few min late. I start watchin the game & a player for the opp team made a obvious foul, & the ref doesnt call it I said call the foul, he tells me to be quite, I tell him to be quite & call the foul. He ejects me from the game. 1 of my players gets hurt, & my assistant coach is talking to his mom about letting him play, the tells him to turn around & sit down, he tell him he taking care of his injured player ref throws him out of course we lose that game. As our team is leaving the parents from the other team started telling my A. coach how they seen the ref cheating, how much better our players were then theirs. With that said most of the coaches down there know how to teach fundamentals unfortunately this is not 70s u need to teach more. The other coaches are there b/c of connections not knowledge.
