PJ Goes to Camp is offering incentive grants of up to $1,000 to PJ Library families who enroll their children in a non profit Jewish overnight camp for the first time. Incentive awards are limited . Who is eligible? First - time campers including: o Current PJ Library subscribers who are enrolled in the program on or before September 1, 201 3 o Siblings of currently eligible PJ Library subscribers o All PJ Library alumni For further eligibility requirements please visit pjlibrary.org and click on the “About PJ Library” drop down list. PJ Library children fortunate to live in communities whose federations sponsor a One Happy Camper program will receive a grant from their community sponsor rather than from the PJ Goes to Camp program . PJ Library children who live in specific areas of Western MA, Northern C T , or Southern VT may be eligible for special campership incentives directly from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. Summer 201 4 camp sessions Campers a re required to attend camp for at least 19 consecutive days (or at least 12 consecutive days if the camp is in one of the 13 Western States) W hich camps are included? Any of 15 0 + non - profit Jewish camps in North America listed on FJC’s website ( jewishcamp.org/camps ) For what amounts? $1,000 for a session of 19 days or longer $700 for a session of 12 days ( only for camps located in the 13 Western States) Are there rest r ictions ? T his is a general incentive program, and is NOT needs based. Campers may receive only one incentive campership through the One Happy Camper program or the Harold Grinspoon Foundation . If the camper receives an incentive from another One Happy Camper spon sor, they are not eligible for a PJ Goes To Camp incentive. There are a limited number of PJ Goes to Camp incentives for 2014.
