Tue June 3 Computer models differ somewhat in the timing/position of a low and front, leading to uncertainty in the severe forecast. Scattered severe thunderstorms in central, east, and southwest OH, PA, NY, MD, NJ, DE, DC, VA, WV, KY, south IN, south IL, north TN, southeast MO. TORCON - 3 to 4 NY and PA; 2 to 3 rest of area. A chance of an isolated severe thunderstorm in southeast MT, east WY, southwest SD, west and south NE, north and central KS, northeast CO, central MO. TORCON - 2 or less Wed June 4 Computer models differ considerably in the position of the severe threat as a wave of low pressure heads along a front in the Central US. The severe thunderstorms will likely be in IA and east NE, but possibly spreading into northwest IL. Seems like hail and wind will be the main threat; TORCON - 2 to 3.
