Tuesday Night From Memphis. Well, another long day in the books. First of all, My Princess is sound asleep. She has had a long day. One thing Ive learned here, is they test, test, test, and then test again. Thats why we are here. Just because they run a test one day, doesnt mean they wont run it again another day. They compare results very often. Thats why these place is the Best in the World. They leave no stones unturned. When we finally got to leave, Karley was craving Mexican Food. The RNs told us to go to a place called Mollys. Ive eaten a lot of Mexican food in my time but never anything as good as this place. The manager was as good as Ive ever seen. It is real, authentic Mexican. Everything was delicious. Many stars dine here often. I know it was a favorite of Stevie Ray Vaughn. Tomorrow is another long day of testing and another MRI. No anesthesia tomorrow, just a lot of testing. On another note about our living arrangements. First of all, we will be moving tomorrow up toward Germantown to the Hilton. This is a partnership St. Jude has had for a while. We thought we were going to the Ronald McDonald house but that changed today. It is really a beautiful place. It is basically a condo but we have our own kitchen. A lot of Karleys meals will be prepared by her Mom. She is on a low bacteria diet so she cant eat her salads. Needless to say, she didnt like that. No fountain drinks either, no tea unless it is bottled. I am really learning, along with Karley about bacteria and how it can affect her while she is on chemo treatments. Again, we had a dietician specialist who went over every single step of this diet. On another note, one of those, Its a Small World note, the lady that is over all of our residence placement ask me where I was from. I said I was from a small town south of Muscle Shoals. She replied that that was also kind of her neck of the woods. I asked her where she was from and she said a little town called Vina. I about fell over. Then she told me that she moved later and finished school at Mt. Hope. So, it really is a Small World. Well, it is time to pack and Im going to make an early run to our new living quarters while My Princess sleeps in tomorrow. First appointment is at 11:00 and we want leave until around 6 pm tomorrow evening. We are enjoying these good days while we can. We know things may get a little rougher but I cant stress enough how well her attitude is. I asked her last night if she was scared of anything and her only worry is the nausea. Again, I am truly Amazed at the strength of My Princess. She wanted me to tell you all that she loves yall and thanks each and every one of you for the uplifting posts and prayers. Mom and Dad love yall and thank yall too. You have literally carried us through the past week. Keep those prayers coming. And until tomorrow night, God Bless Each of You. Hug those around you often, tell them you LOVE them, and keep Cheering For Karley.
