Biographer John Taliaferro, in conversation with Harold Holzer, provides a long-overdue look into the life and work of this unparalleled figure. SPEAKER BIOS John Taliaferro is author of five books, the latest being All the Great Prizes: The Life of John Hay, from Lincoln to Roosevelt, and is a former senior editor at Newsweek. Harold Holzer (moderator) has written and edited more than 40 books on Lincoln and the Civil War and is the recipient of the National Humanities Medal. His latest book is The Civil War in 50 Objects.
