Twas the night before the WNFR and all through the house, Everyone - TopicsExpress

Twas the night before the WNFR and all through the house, Everyone was stirring... even the mouse. The horses were bedded down in their stalls with care, The elite American Quarter Horses, geldings and mares. The cowboys and cowgirls were not ready for bed, While visions of championship runs danced in their heads. And the contract personnel at the Thomas and Mack, Had just settled in for one more rehearsal before hitting the sack. For tomorrow the last leg would begin, Of the quest for the gold buckle they all wanted to win. You see, this rodeo only comes once a year, Drawing rodeo fans to Cowboy Town from far and near. The lights of Las Vegas gleam brighter it would seem, As these contestants come closer to realizing a dream. Tomorrow it will start, the best of the best, They will rely on their practice and let God do the rest. We hope you stop by Phils presentations at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino during ProRodeos WNFR December 8-9 at 1 p.m. See you in Vegas! (poem by S. Peterson)
