“Two C130 cargo planes carrying around 20 tons of relief kits from Thailand arrived at Mactan Air Base yesterday. The kits contain food and medicines, said Thai Ambassador H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai during a press briefing held earlier today. Prasasvinitchai said more relief goods intended for typhoon victims in the Philippines were left in Thailand that could no longer be loaded in the cargo planes. The Ambassador is hoping that a Navy ship will be able to bring them over to the Philippines later.” PIA-RO7, 11/20/13
