"Two Million Biker Ride To D.C. On North Florida Today" (KUDOS to Rich Palmer in North Florida!!) Fri, Aug 30, 2013 Those locals who want more information concerning the two million Biker ride to DC can tune in for Bill Glass & Gary Noland with guest Rich Palmer. The ride honors those that died in the Sept 11th attacks. Palmer plans to drive a support vehicle and is looking for local sponsors. They say the movement across the country is in the greatest tradition of American Patriotism. They want to honor first responders on that day for their courage in the face of the Unknown. Without regard for their own safety, they endeavored to save as many lives as possible, and as a result many made the supreme sacrifice. They want to honor the Men and Women of our Armed Services who have sacrificed so much in the fight against those who wish to destroy the American way of life. Our military has gone beyond the call of duty in their service. Their families and communities have contributed their fathers, mothers, sons and daughters in the defense of our Nation. To that end we wish to extend our sincere gratitude. They say to show support of these great Patriots and as a tribute to the fighting spirit of our great nation and Founding Fathers, 2 Million Bikers will ride to Washington DC on September 11th, 2013.
