Two People Stabbed in Charleston Friday Night CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two stabbing victims are in stable condition at a local hospital. The couple was stabbed late Friday night near the Transit Mall and the Middle East Mart in downtown Charleston. The pair then ran across the street near the Charleston Town Center where they called 911. Police tell WSAZ that they are getting conflicting reports about whether or not the couple knew the person who stabbed them. Police have arrested one man in connection with the incident. There was no word early Saturday morning on his name or the charges he is facing. ORIGINAL STORY CHARLESTON, W.Va. Charleston Police are on the scene investigating.
