Two Polish (unseeded Lukasz Kubot and 24th seed Jerzy Janowicz) - TopicsExpress

Two Polish (unseeded Lukasz Kubot and 24th seed Jerzy Janowicz) play for history as one of them will become the first Polish player ever to reach the semifinal of a Grand Slam. Earlier the best for Polish men was Wojtek Fibak reaching three consecutive grand slam quarter-finals in 1980. Women have a better record though as Agnieszka Radwanska has earned the feat to be the first-ever Polish player to ever play a Grand Slam final. She lost the final of Wimbledon 2012. She is again in the quarterfinal and with her last year finalist Serena already knocked out, she has a better chance of getting the first ever Grand Slam trophy to Poland.
