Two day Bake Sale at Sackville Sports Stadium for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society = $1,042.00! Thank you to everyone who donated your awesome baking to this cause, thank you to Leah Bruce, Jacob Luedee, Cyndi Luedee, Angie Brown-Haskett, Maddy Rogers (Karla Shaw-Rogers) who volunteer their time to help sell the delicious baked goods! In two days I spoke to a lady who lost her Dad, another lady, a survivor, who was diagnosed in 2009, a man (Phillip Bishop) who is currently going through treatment again, all because of a blood cancer, you dont need to have a family or friend connection to this cause, hearing the stories connects you. Nancy MacDonald, Maggie Holm and I have a goal to raise thousands of dollars for this cause, this is an amazing start and we all THANK YOU!
