Two events are taking place across Teesside in support of the Big Latch On – a global campaign to raise awareness of the benefits of breastfeeding. The infant feeding co-ordinator and the breastfeeding peer supporters at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are inviting breastfeeding mums to join them at the Stray Café, Redcar, on Friday 1 August and at Stewart Park, Middlesbrough, on Saturday 2 August to take part in the global Big Latch On. Thousands of women and their babies across the world will gather in their own communities to join in the synchronised breastfeeding event at 10.30am on 1 and 2 August as part of World Breastfeeding Week. southtees.nhs.uk/news/community/big-latch/
