Two men were arrested yesterday after South Coast police allegedly tracked a stolen car to a North Plympton address. At 5pm, a man reported his plumbing van had been stolen from the front of his Happy Valley home. The van was fitted with GPS tracking equipment and he was able to provide police with a running commentary on the vans location. The stolen van was tracked to a North Plympton home, where it was found parked behind garage doors. Two men located with the vehicle were arrested over the theft. A 25-year-old North Plympton man and a 23-year-old Mitchell Park man were both charged with illegal use and theft and will face court at a later date. The stolen van was returned to the rightful owner.
