Two more boats joining the Hobart fleet! A warm welcome to two new teams joining us on the River Derwent. John (the mouth from the East) Nibbs has purchased Nick Rogers boat Karabos but dont panic, Nick isnt leaving us, hell be pulling his other boat out of mothballs. Nibbsy will be joined by his son Jay and rumour has it that Nathan Mills will be the third crew member which will make them a pretty formidable team. The other new owners are Michael Thorpe and his partner Krista who have bought a boat from Victoria. Michael has a strong record in Cadets, Rainbows and most recently the Farr 40s so they should also be up to speed quickly. This takes us to 18 boats, by far the biggest one-design keel boat fleet in Tassie, and no doubt well have even more soon!!!
