Two new art pieces. As seen in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette NW today. The first is a cedar and pine casket representing racism as an allegory, which will be buried next Tuesday at the MLK vigil in downtown Harrison, and the second is the inset black walnut and white oak handshake on zebrawood with a plaque on the back that is removed before burial to eventually reside in the office of the commissioner in our states capital. Beneath the plaque is a heart of stone from Crooked Creek. From the office of the Mayor of Harrison to the MLK commission as a symbolic gesture that represents a peaceful rest to the issues that have stigmatized Harrison since 1905.
