His interest in Modern Paleolithic Art is a motivating force behind his unique images and he works with pastel and charcoal using a limited palette to capture the female essence. Inspired by the book by Layne Redmond, “When Drummers Were Women”, Kimberly Berg began living a Zen lifestyle and the meditative world that surrounds him lends itself to invoke the passion he exemplifies in his beautiful, lyrical depictions of the feminine.
