Tyler is at the Vet ... He was there yesterday and they ran a blood test for his upcoming teeth cleaning on Monday. The Vet called this morning to say his ALT liver enzyme is elevated. I took him in for them to do an ultrasound of his liver. The Vet just called and said he sees no tumors but a few very tiny spots, his liver is enlarged and theres an unexplained bright spot near an adrenal gland. He said Tyler is bouncing around like a 3 year old and commented that hes a real little character but he certainly doesnt appear sickly. They are now going to run a test to see if he might have Cushings Disease. (Cushings is treatable and not a terminal disease.) Monday Ill take him in so the Radiologist (who isnt there today) can take another look at Tylers liver. Theyre also going to run another test on his liver on Monday, but its a long test and its too late today to do it. So ... there you have it, Im worried to tears, you all know what this little character means to me. Say a prayer please.
