Typical. The American dream is now a nightmare for many. As a nation what needs to be done is make housing ownership more accessible for working people that file taxes. Dodd/Frank should be now scrapped and we need to move in a new direction. I believe that the 30 year mortgage needs to be scrapped as well. Thirty years is a simply way too much time for someone to be paying banks. For this to happen, naturally, the housing stock needs to be increased dramatically bringing down prices - but frankly I dont see why this cannot be done given the abundance of land in the U.S. . . . What needs to be done is to build infrastructure and security in funding. LETS START BUILDING . . . But I am certain our reps in Congress have thought about this and are hard at work at getting re-elected . . . .
