UNAIDS reports decreases in the number of new HIV infections worldwide with the most success in improving prevention of perinatal transmission. There is still SO much more work to do in securing human rights and access to medications. And there is so much that needs to be done on prevention in countries like the US where numbers of new infections have been stable and may be rising in certain populations.
