UNITED SIKHS fully in support of #nomadiclion who are #walkingborneo #2500km with our partners #geraksikh #goldheartsproject Day 49 of #walkingborneo - Kota Kinabalu - SBM Sabah (Society of the Blind Malaysia) Helping the blind to help themselves A truly successful project since 1966 that is full of positive and inspiring success stories; for example the story of a blind man who studied agriculture at the society and now owns and manages a very successful 15 acre Watermelon farm Or the hundreds of massage businesses set up by blind people across Sabah. The magic hands of Surj Goldkartz II drumming called out the rain as we sang rabba rabba mih barsaa; the louder the drumming got the heavier the rain fell. The combination of The Flying Singh and Malaysias premier international Bhangra duo #Goldkartz brought a lot of life and energy into the building as we shared food and stories with the members.
