“UNZA Student Deserved to Die,” says Chellah’s Girlfriend President Michael Sata’s press aide George Chellah’s alleged girlfriend Nancy Yikona on Thursday posted a comment suggesting the a prospective UNZA student who committed suicide deserved to prematurely terminate her life. Yikona, who goes by the name of Nancy Prisháàn’s Mum on facebook posted on a discussion; “Awe I am sure kamwene ka boyfriend kakwe naka gelo kambi pa corner kena ka bepeshamo bursary. [No, I am sure she saw her boyfriend with another girl at a certain corner and wants to blame bursary]. Kalekeni kafweee [Let her die].” It’s unclear how far Nancy has gone in her education and whether she has attempted to pursue a bursary. However, it is in public domain that she has sustained her life merchandising herself. Chellah’s close allies suggest it was Nancy who snatched the ‘handsome’ press aide from his matrimonial home leading to him filing for divorce in the Lusaka High Court. Nancy is known to have been among the “hot” PF campaign chicks that was also assigned a key online role to fend off ruling party attacks which she actively played until it was clear the man they were at some point hoping will take over from President Michael Sata – Wynter Kabimba – resoundingly fell from grace. Although she has taken a rather back online role, she is a firm believer in President Sata’s leadership. Other than nailing top PF cadres, she has also attracted Lebanese guys one of who she fathered a child with. Below is the thread on which Nancy publicly said the UNZA student denied bursary deserved to die. Munsaka Mukwamba, a 19-year-old girl, was among the 4000 students denied bursary for the 2014/15 academic year. The news has griped the country with extreme sorrow and discontent with opposition parliamentarian demanding answers. It is wrong to commit suicide yes, but imagine the hopes of a poor youth hinged on one opportunity from the shackles of poverty and only to be crushed in a moment and told that you will have to continue the life of poverty after seeing some light. Its beyond the relationship nonsense people kill themselves over. October 2 at 4:00am · Like Mickie Mumba I feel sorry for the family of the young girl. It pains when you know how painful the bursary rejection affected the young girl. The money she was denied was from tax payers not government. The officials mishandled the situation at Bursary. There are many options available which were not given to her. I am one of the beneficiaries and it hurts to know that an innocent soul could not access a bursary because of a fool who said no without giving other options to the girl!
