UPDATE: Charlie is home from the vet now and resting. Due to the brittle nature of his jaw, Charlies jaw break could not be wired back together. Instead, he is on strong antibiotics and healing at home for now under close supervision. Prayers are needed because there is some suspicion for cancer in Charlies mouth. Combined with the amount of infection and rotting teeth that he was likely suffering from for a long time, Charlies system has been through quite a bit and he needs to rest and recover for now. A follow-up visit with the vet in a couple of weeks will tell us more. Thank you all for following his story and rooting for Charlies full recovery.
