UPDATE : Hi Everyone. Great news to say that the shop will be re-opening on Monday. Thank you for all your messages to get well and it is so great to be home doing what I do best. To me claywork is not work but a love that I find relaxing so even if the shop is closed I would still be making things. There will be a couple of changes to the shop however. I am switching the clay i use for my work to polymer clay. This clay is so much more stronger than air drying clay. I have a small oven now in my studio which will also drastically reduce waiting time for me to make something to order. Air drying clay would take 3 days to dry out before you could paint it and finish it. Now I will be able to do the whole process from start to finish in 2 days to send to you. Also because it is stronger it allows me to create designs I could not with my old clay so expect alot of new designs being added over the coming weeks. Even in hospital I used my time to create new ideas which I will be sharing with you all soon to add to the current ones in the shop. There has also been some changes to the background of the website so now any abuse I receive will be filtered and logged and passed onto the relevant authorities. Any abuse is not acceptable but to target me for my sight loss is despicable. But I will say this loud and clear. I will not be driven offline by a small number of people who think what they do is acceptable where in fact, they are breaking the law. I will take all action available to me to stamp this out. The hardest thing I have faced in losing my sight is not becoming blind but having to deal with people like this every day which only makes me a stronger person Also a big Thank You to Craftmill who have chosen me as their first business choice for their promotional feature. They are my main supplier of materials and without them my business would not run as smoothly as it does. It is a great honour and I was so chuffed last night when they told me. So coming soon will be new sections for Weddings & Christening, Wine glasses and dining accessories, Christmas (please do not unlike me for saying the C word) expanding the 100 Hearts range & heritage Range and adding a few free standing sculptures I designed when in hospital. Also very importantly a ribbon brooch in aid of Running4Refuge. A white polymer clay ribbon with a small R indented at each end. Only £5 each but 100% will go to the charity thats raising money for Refuge & domestic Violence. This will be in addition to the coaster set also available. I will also be sending out these brooches to any approved Running4Refuge Representative who will sell at their events. Again Thank You for all your support the past 2 weeks while I have been ill.
