UPDATE ON PRAYER REQUEST: I love stories so Im going to share this one with you in the hopes that it will inspire YOU!! My daughter, Brianna Beckham, came to me towards the end of her Junior year to tell me she did not want to finish her Senior Year at Lake Brantley High School. She told me she found a private Christian school that had a Home-Schooling program. You can imagine, I was a bit shocked since she is very involved in her school, has good grades and made the Varsity cheer team. She has been going to school with all her friends since she was in 1st GRADE, I couldnt understand why she wouldnt want to graduate from this school. At the same time, I could understand her position as I have made some personal decisions about an unconventional way to earn a living. I gave her most of the summer to think about it, a few teachers spoke to her, I gave her a ton of cons for her to consider but she was unwavering in her decision. Yesterday I decided to begin the enrollment process with her new school since it was getting late into the summer and I called to get things started. A lady answered the phone told me two things: 1) WE DO NOT ACCEPT SENIORS, 2) ENROLLMENT DEADLINE WAS JUNE 26!!!! I didnt know this to be proactive was waiting on her final decision (guess I waited too long) so I hung up the phone, explained the situation to Brianna and she CRIED, A LOT!! She was so upset she told me she wanted so badly to go to this school and there was something that could be done. I told her NO, there was NOTHING WE COULD DO. She said, please Mom, call them back and tell them I WANT TO GO TO THIS SCHOOL AND I WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET IN! I got very annoyed with her but decided to satisfy her and prove to her that it was not going to happen so I called again. This time another lady answered, an angel. She listened to me, she explained their policy, I explained my daughters broken heart and she put me on hold. She got back on the phone and told me she couldnt promise anything but I could submit an application and she would speak to the Director on our behalf! Today we got the approval, Bri is going to the school she wants to go to. My daughter was born so determined to get what she wants. I know now no matter the school, no matter the NO she will find a way to get what she wants. Thank you to everyone for your prayers, they worked and my baby is very excited about her future! Oh, and I thank God, all my clients, my mentors and my Health Coach because if it wasnt for my amazing career Home-Schooling my daughter could never be an option! My heart overfloweth!! ❤️
