UPDATE: On Monday July 28, at approximately 5:45 p.m. the Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service responded to a shooting incident at Time Square apartments located at 211 Hunter Street. The 40-year-old man, who suffered from a gunshot wound, has since been released from the hospital. Two men have been arrested and charged in this incident. On August 1, a warrant was issued for the arrest of the third suspect, 19 year old Shyheim Thomas-Scott, of Ajax, for the charges of; party to the offence of attempt to commit murder, robbery with firearm and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence. Yesterday, Thomas-Scott was arrested in York Region with the assistance from the York Regional Police and the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Unit. Thomas-Scott was transported back to Peterborough and is scheduled to appear in court today. The investigation continues.
