UPDATE..... Preston gets to go home!!!... I know its late, and many of you will not get this today, but even if it was 11:59, I wanted to update! So lets start with the bad, and end with the good. Its been a long day of emotion, Preston was to come home (to his foster home ) this morning, but had some negative reactions with one of the medications he was being treated with and went backwards a bit! Developed some more complications, but we are feeling confident he can overcome this!! After much conversation, we felt he would be better off at home where he could be watched 24hrs, with vet on call. With all thats bad in the situation, there is SO much good as well, and that is REALLY what we are trying to focus on!! When I got there to pick him up today.....(I always seem to talk in this high pitched doggy voice, as my daughter calls it) he ran to me, jumped on me, with all 14lbs of himself, and licked my face!!!....THAT was all I needed.... To know, he is a fighter, and WANTS to win this battle!!! OR,,, maybe he was just happy to know, that we are big GA fans, and the DAWGS just pulled in a big win!!! All in all, emotion overload in Prestons foster home tonight, but the biggest emotion tonight..... PEACE!!! Peace in knowing that he is safe, and that all of your prayers will pull him through these rough days!!!! Good night all..... Will post earlier tomorrow, because there is so much to tell you about our sweet boy!!!
