PRIVATE LAND AND OWNED PRIVATELY BY MELBY RANCH WHICH IS LOCATED NEAR SAN LUIS, CO. PLEASE SHARE THIS!!!! WE NEED PEOPLE IN NEW MEXICO & W. TX TO BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR 25 UNBRANDED WILD HORSES. [24 Bays, one sorrel ~ A STALLION w/ only ONE EYE.] THEY HAVE BEEN PHOTOGRAPHED EXTENSIVELY AND CAN BE IDENTIFIED. 24 ARE BAYS and here is ONE SORREL STALLION with ONLY ONE EYE. **NEED ID ASAP, TRUCKS/TRAILERS, LOTS. Get ID on all large stock or semi trailers as below: 1) You want to get the name off of the side of the truck. Most will have this as an EXAMPLE : C & C horses, Bakers Stables, Smith Brothers(Bros) Trucking, Montoya Trucking WHATEVER THE NAME, get it. If the truck is leased, it should say the Owners name and Leased to on it. If it is just a privately owned truck and large stock trailer, get what ever description you can get. No possible lead is a bad lead!! 2) Get the USDOT Number under the name (usually under the name on the drivers side door). 3) There could also be some numbers on the nose of the truck or front bumper. That is probably the Fleet Number if the driver has more than one truck. It doesnt hurt to write that down too. 4) Get the license plate number. If you cannot get that no #, just get the state. There are efforts being made behind the scenes we wont know about. Please give her any info you have right away. SPIRIT OF THE WILD HORSE NEEDS YOUR HELP! Last night around 10 pm mountain time two large stock trailers slipped out of Colorado with around 30 wild horse headed to slaughter in Mexico. State police wont do anything about it unless we have truck description and license plate. If anybody that lives in Southern NM spots the trailers please call state police. The horses are all bays and possibly one roan. Be on the lookout! We ARE THE WATCHDOGS. Melby Ranch Wild Horse Mesa is south of San Luiz Co. Sadly, Judy is looking for foals that may have been dumped and not taken with the mares on those trailers. One final note: it sounds like unless there is absolute proof of ownership *available when the horses are located*, they may have to be purchased from whoever has them. Thankfully there are photographs of the horses which may help especially for identification but that still is not proof of ownership alone. We understand these to be unbranded Wild Horses of various origin. This is an URGENT situation. WERE (APPARENTLY and MOST LIKELY] ROUNDED UP DAYS AGO AND HID IN THE TRAILERS UNTIL THEY WERE MOVED LAST NIGHT. NO WAY OF KNOWING IF THEY GOT WATER OR HAY.
