UPDATE on Tula regarding her blood/urine test results for her increased water intake: everything came back fine except for her kidney scores. They were elevated-not majorly, but enough for concern. This could be from an infection, kidney stones, age related, etc. Ive decided to spend $375 for an ultra sound of her organs. Id rather spend it having some peace of mind of where to go regarding treatment. If its an infection then she takes an antibiotic. If its age related then I change her diet & have her injected with fluids. Ive worked with cats with kidney disease at the shelter where I volunteer and I pray its nothing major for her. Shes all I have and Im not ready to let her go.
