UPDATED 2013 Marshwood High School Fall Athletic Information Any student athlete that wishes to participate in fall athletics at Marshwood High School must be sure to do the following prior to August 6th: All athletes must have a current physical (within last year) on file with the high school nurse; must fill out, in conjunction with their parent/legal guardian the “Student Contract/Insurance/Parental Consent Card” (white cards located in our Main Office) and have in to Mrs. Linda Bassi, Athletic Secretary before August 15th. DO NOT GIVE WHITE CARDS OR PHYSICALS TO THE COACHING STAFF!!. Please turn them into the Main Office to by August 15th ) All teams begin on August 19th!!! Double session times are 8:00am to 9:30am and 3:45pm-5:30pm. Please bring Mouth guard, water bottle, cleats, shin guards and running shoes in the am. Please bring white t-shirts and dark t shirts for evening practice. Girls Soccer (Gr 9-12) Luke Edgar 207-475-6039 [email protected] Start Date August 19th on the Marshwood Secondary Field. Times are 9:15am-11:30am and 5:00pm-7:00pm. Please arrive 15 minutes early for each session. Please bring Mouth guard, water bottle, cleats, running shoes and shin guards. Please bring mouth guards, ASTM certified goggles, shinguards, sneakers, cleats, water bottle and a stick. Practice from 8-10:30am for Grades 9-12. Second practice will be from 3:30pm-6pm. Please bring cleats, mouthguards, shorts and an extra t-shirt. Day 1 will be jumps and tumbling. Girls will learn a cheer and dance. Day 2 is evaluation of the cheer, dance and basic stunting. Girls should wear cheer sneakers, shorts and t-shirts. Hair must be up. No jewelry, jean shorts, pajamas or inappropriate attire. Bring a water bottle clearly labeled with their name on it. Clubs and appropriate attire required (golf shirt & golf shorts). **All Students must have updated physical (within last 365 days on file at high school); have medical insurance, and have completed the “Student-Contract/Parental Permission Form (White Card) on file by August 15th in order to participate. All students that participate will be required to do the IMpact concussion testing within the first week of participation. The Athletic Trainer and our coaching staff will arrange the testing dates & times. IMPact initial baseline tests are good for 2 years.
