URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE VICE GOVERNORS OFFICE (VGO): The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) at Fort Del Pilar, Baguio City, is accepting applications for its ENTRANCE EXAM on AUG. 3, 2014 in Davao City. Qualifications: -natural born Filipino citizen; -physically fit and of good moral character; -single and has never been married; -must pass the PMA Entrance Exam;* -no administrative/criminal case; -at least high school graduate OR GRADUATING BY MARCH 2015; -at least 5 feet in height but not more than 64, both for male and female; -at least 17 years old but not more than 22 years old by April 1, 2015. *The Entrance Exam will focus in MATH (Algebra and Geometry), ENGLISH (Grammar, Composition, and Reading and Comprehension) and Abstract Reasoning (Verbal and Numerical Reasoning and Pattern Analysis). Initial Requirements: -completely filled-up application forms;** -Form 137 -NSO copy of birth certificate. **Application forms are AVAILABLE at the VICE GOVERNORS OFFICE (VGO). We will also provide copies to DepEd Province and City Divisions. DEADLINE for SUBMISSION of APPLICATION FORMS with REQUIREMENTS is on JULY 25, 2014. Applicants may submit their application through regular mail or courier services. They may also take advantage of the online application through the academy’s website at pma.ph. Walk in applicants with complete documents may take the examination as long as there are sufficient examination booklets. SY2015-2016 will start on April 1, 2015. Through the Davao Oriental School Fairs in the past sponsored by Vice Governor Joel Mayo Z. Almario, the VGO was able to send seven (7) school fair participants to PMA and are are now on their 2nd year. A PMA student receives not less than P20,000 as monthly pay and allowances during his first year in the academy. MAYOng Edukasyon para sa MAYOng Kaugmaon!
