URGENT HIRING for FLEET COORDINATOR!! Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. Responsibilities: Attend daily morning devotions at the beginning of every working day Oversee and manage all drivers as well as facilitate training for all SP drivers including but not limited to vehicle operation and maintenance techniques Oversee the coordination of weekly and daily vehicle and driver assignments as well as the monitoring of drivers during assignments to ensure security protocols are followed Oversee the management of all vehicle maintenance activity, mechanic shop and mechanics Maintain mechanic shop stocks and tools to facilitate efficient vehicle maintenance program. Develop, implement and oversee accurate vehicle maintenance program ensuring all vehicle safety standards are followed appropriately to facilitate efficiently run vehicles Maintain up to date insurance and vehicle papers per country and region specific requirements to ensure all laws and regulations for road worthy vehicles are followed Maintain open communication with programs to facilitate planning and forecasting of needs for vehicle and driver to assist in maintaining program’s efficient activity and cost effective use of vehicles Ensure compliance with Samaritan’s Purse transport and driver policies as well as develop and maintain country specific driving, transport and fleet policies and procedures. Manage all aspects of road safety incidents including traffic violations, traffic accidents, roadside robbery or kidnapping by reporting and documenting appropriately per pre-established procedures and in coordination with security manager Create, develop, implement and enforce all aspects of Fleet, transport, maintenance and driver policies and procedures. Ensure country specific policies and procedures are in compliance with Samaritan’s Purse FOG Ensure all program and operations transportation needs are met including rentals of additional vehicles and drivers if necessary Oversee all expat drivers, facilitating compliance with countrywide driving training program, policies and procedures and Philippines licenses. Assist logistics department with the coordination of new Fleet ordering as needed Oversee and maintain accurate fuel and mileage logs for each vehicle, track fuel requisitions, and ensure payments are made in a timely manner When outside vehicle maintenance or repair is necessary, coordinate timely work and payment with vehicle service providers Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of fleet programs, maintenance and activities Assist with yearly budget planning and preparation as well as budget maintenance Prepare monthly vehicle tracking reports for the National Logistics Manager. Perform any other duties as designated by the Country Director, National Logistics Manager, and Fleet Manager. Education / Experience Needed Has finished secondary education (at minimum) Excellent organisation and communication skills (English Language) including oral, written and interpersonal skills and working in a diverse multicultural environment Problem solving and analytical skills, coupled with demonstrated ability to work to tight and conflicting deadlines.
