US Pacific Territories Capacity Building Scholarship – The 2015 US Pacific Territories Capacity-Building Scholarship provides funding to college students with close ties to American Samoa, Guam or the Northern Mariana Islands, who are US citizens or nationals, so they can obtain an undergraduate or graduate degree from a fisheries focused program at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, University of Hawaii’s Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology, Hawaii Pacific University or the University of Guam. It also includes a paid internship and a commitment to work in a local US Pacific Territory agency (one year service for each year of scholarship).
