Ugh. G is so well behaved for a boy who is in such frantic trouble. Everybody’s oohing and aahing over the dogs in the other kennels and they march right past G’s cage. Of course it’s no fun to look at a boy who is suffering. G has a peri anal hernia so he’s not feeling so great. Quite remarkably G tolerates being examined and handled by others - this boy has one sweet disposition. G’s worried that he’s not going to get picked to leave the shelter with a human because he’s already 8-years old and he’s sick. Obviously he has good cause to be concerned and his time runs out tomorrow. “Why would you pick me?” he wonders when there are so many dogs who are younger and cuter. G doesn’t want a date with a lethal needle tomorrow. Do you know someone who might embrace the boy who feels like the ugly duckling? G needs you desperately.
