Ugh...that feeling when I work all week on a video and a bigger FB page just rips it and gets more views/support on their bootleg copy. We want our videos to get bigger and better, and YouTube support has become an important part of that process. So its really discouraging to see The Replica Prop Forum rip and re-upload our brand new video (the day it comes out) and take away a big quantity of views and support from us. It really throws a wrench into my strategy of using views/support as a launching pad to make bigger better videos...and it just discourages me from making videos. I know cosplay videos are a huge communal effort of costumers, prop-builders, cosplayers, and videographers - I cant appreciate that collaboration enough. But its just really hard to make videos if another brand takes the views and supports for content we work hard on. ***Sorry for the downer post.
