Unbehalf of this group,I wish to thank God for the marginalized and politically frightened people of Oro for the journey so far. Having sojourned from Israel through the middle East, Abyssinia, central Africa, Cameroun to the present unfortunate location.Its true that Oron was not the only group that embarked on such early ethnomigration but our case has been so unique and significant in view of loud and common hatred propelled against us by neighbouring forces against in the present day Akwa Ibom state of Nigeria. By implication,it is not a surprise to observe with apparent sense of significant comparison that Isreal, Orons putative lineage and origin suffered and still suffers same hatred from her neighbouring countries.Oron like Israel is the supplier of means of economic sustainance in Akwa Ibom. Oron like Israel was and still the first tourist destination of Akwa Ibom. Oron like Israel had the divine grace of being first to produce best brains and educational infrastructures which have without doubt propelled the engine of growth of the state called Akwa Ibom. No wonder therefore, the established fact that it is only in Israel, Nigeria and Switzerland one finds the word ORON being bore and widely use as name of a places and persons respectively worldwide. Ohiam Oron is an Isreali politician,Josef Oron is an Isreali university lecturer among others.To this end, Oro Nation Historical Group hereby admonishes that as a people,we must not forget our identity, origin and antecedents as people hated by man but love by God.This is our common signature as a people. Truly,like our putative brothers in Israel we MUST be free and shall soon RISE again.WE HAVE OUR PRIDE !!! Thanks and a very happy Xmas.
