Pakistan became the first Asian team to win an ODI series against South Africa in South Africa. Credit to Misbah! ... or? In the 3-match Test series against England, Pakistans leading run-scorer was Azhar Ali, who scored 251 runs at an average of 50.20. Meanwhile, Misbah-ul-Haq was the 4th leading run scorer (averaging 36.00), behind Azhar, Younis, and Mohammad Hafeez. The leading wicket taker was Saeed Ajmal, who took 24 wickets at an average of 14.70. Saeed Ajmal was the Man of the Match in the first Test, Abdur Rehman in the second, and Azhar Ali in the third. Saeed Ajmal was also the Man of the Series. In the 3-match ODI series against India, Pakistan won the first two ODIs and lost the third. In the first two ODIs that Pakistan won, Misbah scored 16 (24) and 2 (5). In the third one, which Pakistan lost, Misbah scored 39 (82). Pakistan won the series mainly because of Nasir Jamshed, who became the Man of the Series for his back-to-back centuries. In the 3-match ODI series against South Africa, Pakistan won the first two matches and lost the third. In the first two ODIs, which Pakistan won, Misbah-ul-Haq scored 13 (19) and 12 (15). And there was a bit of luck as well, since Pakistan won by just 1 run. The Man of the Series was Saeed Ajmal. So credit to Misbah for all these achievements? Before you say anything, this is no criticism. This is a mere observation. Undoubtedly, Misbah has contributed a lot to Pakistan cricket, but lets give credit where its due! These achievements are not Misbahs, its team Pakistans achievements. And if someone deserves a special credit for these achievements, it is the players who got Man-of-the-Match and Man-of-the-Series awards. #hasnain
