United with the Community – Teen Court Inc. Teen Court Inc. is a court sanctioned first-offender’s program for juvenile offenders between the ages of 10-18 who have committed a misdemeanor offense. Lawton Teen Court’s goal is to reduce teenage misdemeanor offenses and increase awareness of good citizenship for offenders as well as for the volunteers. The program gives these youth a unique and educational opportunity to have their case heard and sentenced by a jury of their peers as opposed to having formal charges filed against them. Through positive peer pressure juveniles are given a second chance while at the same time being held accountable for their actions. Check out our website to learn more about our partner agencies.
