I got CPT approved from my university on June 2, 2014 and is valid till Aug 22,2014. However my work at Consultancys client place does not begin until July 20,2014 .Hence my payroll will also be run by consultancy starting from July 20.This will look more like an unpaid internship, but in actual case I am not working at all. 1. Will this cause any problem with OPT or OPT extension or H1B or during any other situations when dealing with USCIS? Can Consultancy run a blank payroll? Kindly reply.
