Up early after a season-ending loss to bitter in-state rivals for my alma mater and home town team and my feelings are --- contentment. What a run Rick Pitino has engineered from a group of recruits. Such a pleasure to watch these young men - Luke, Russ and all the rest of the guys -- mature and achieve so much for their school and each other. Thank you Rick. Now, I suppose Kentucky might as well go ahead and win its ninth title. Theyve beat us two and are the better team, this year. But I still vastly prefer cheering for U of L. .
