Update: I have once again changed my eating habits. As of a week ago I cleaned my diet up even more and Im basically doing a lower carb version of Paleo. I cut out fruit altogether for a while. So now I am eating grass fed meats or wild caught fish, pastured eggs, green and other lower carb veggies like cauliflower, nuts and seeds in moderation, and extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil. My typical menu is as follows: Breakfast: 3 egg omelet with spinach, diced tomatoes, diced mushrooms or diced squash or zucchini ( the key to a good omelet is seasoning, I use Cajun seasoning) ( I also scramble my omelet) Lunch: Left over lunch or I make double omelet and take half Dinner: Beef, chicken, or fish in a skillet with veggies in same skillet, season well and bake. I do cooks several variations for supper and experiment with new recipes on the weekends when I dont have school. There are thousands of recipes on Pinterest if you look up low carb Paleo but I love to cook and am very creative so I usually see a recipe and then tweak it into my own. I have lost three pounds this week. My weight loss had stalled. I had even gained 20 pounds because my Dr had put me on progesterone because Im premenopausal. I did research and immediately found out thats what was causing it so I switched to the natural cream. I had stopped losing even after switching for over a month but now Im losing again. I didnt start this journey to lose weight. I started it to heal my body and weight loss was a great side effect but now Ive come so far, I want to reach the finish line. My journey has been so amazing!! People that knew me when I was really sick cant believe this new me. Food and nutrition is the key. I am living proof and now more and more people are coming forward with similar stories. It isnt a cure, but it is a way to eliminate so many of the symptoms!! Shell
