Update On Spencer My Husband. Spencer has had complications since he was attacked and stabbed by a deranged individual. He developed a hernia due to the pressure on his abdomen when it filled with blood and will be getting surgery on Monday. They said he couldnt get that surgery without a colonoscopy so he has to get one on Friday. He will be completely sedated for the hernia and partially sedated for the colonoscopy. It also looks like he suffered a torn rotator cuff in the attack and something to his knee that we have to get checked out. Hes had a low grade fever since the knife attack which the surgeon hopes will go away once the hernia has fixed. Hes kind of wasting away from the fever and inability to walk or hike much. When I write this it sounds so glum but really, we deal with each thing that comes our way and still have a lot of joy in our lives. We have friends over almost every day and sit around talking about life and spirituality like we always have. We sit around our patio campfire at night and listen to beautiful music while we look at the stars. Spencer spends a lot of time talking to his horses which is his therapy. We still collaborate a lot on the art, having long discussions about what impact each new piece will have on humanity and collective consciousness. The biggest difference is that Spencer no longer goes to work. I pretty much have to run the business on my own and hope that he can get back soon because our income and financial situation has deteriorated without him making sales. Sometimes I find myself really getting scared about our predicament or that he wont be with me, but I soothe myself by remembering that spirit has a plan for us all and things are as they should be. We both believe that a lot of good will come out of this even if we cannot see how yet. One positive is that we have both refocused on what is really important. Things that used too seem like a big deal just dont now and we are largely unaffected by people around us who get worked up about little things. Ive tried to get Spencer to set up something like gofundme but so far he has been resistant to any kind of charity. He says we have beautiful things to sell so people can just buy those if they want to help. Ill keep working on him. In the mean time we are going to continue our 20% discount sale to help with medical bills. Thanks in advance for your support.
