Update Sony Xperia Go To Official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Manually Posted by: Goutam Dutta April 27, 2013 in Xperia Go Being the smartest is one thing but being tough enough to sustain through some real world benchmarks is different. The toughest phone amongst the 2012 pack of Sony Xperia phones, the Xperia Go is one of it’s kind as apart from having IP67 certification against water and dust, the Sony Xperia Go holds evenly as a power packed Android device at it’s heart. The prized droid is one amongst those who make the most out of their own limitations. Although the resolution has been kept at 320×480(HVGA) it still out performs it’s WVGA siblings by a great margin courtesy the same chipset humming inside as it has to do with the lower resolution with the same power within. The device fared out well with the supplied Android 4.0.4 firmware and now it has been treated with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean by it’s OEM as promised. Although the firmware is available to be downloaded to your phones as an OTA in select regions for now but there is another way to get it done too. The firmware will soon be seeded to more parts of the globe but there is still a group of core users who went on to unlock the bootloaders and played a few tricks out on their phones. For them, it is the Flashtool that does the trick!
