Update/ advice needed. Went back today for Duke to have a recheck... She took off the pressure wrap bandage and said we are finally on the road to an end with this. He still has two staples where the drain hole was removed(the second drain hole) so things are looking great and doesnt seem to be filling up with fluid. However because this was pretty much on his shoulder blade. The incision and tube holes, the top hole has cause a raised area of scar tissue. Besides looks can scar tissue effect them? It is on the top of his shoulder so thats why I worry. My doc said when he goes to get neutered and its still pretty raised she will go in and clean that up as well while hes under. Hes four and half months and were not gonna neuter until about 9 months to a year so I know hes got lots of growing to do. Heres my question would you leave it alone or if still lots of scar tissue remove it? Dont care about looks care more about about going back in that area. Would it cause more damage then good. Thanks for listening! Good news is after almost a month of this dukes getting back to normal!
