Update for today I went to visit my brother today, the first time in a few days. Wayne looked good. He was shaved His bruising on his face is almost gone. He was resting most of the time that I was there. He was kicking his right leg alot. The did put a protective boot on that foot so he wouldnt hurt the wound that he has on that. I was standing by his bed and he kicked me with that foot. He didnt mean to but It caught me off guard. He was running a slight fever. He is still getting antibiotics, they are still weaning the vent and pain meds. We talked to the doctor that did the surgery on the bowel and he said he is very pleased with that. He told us that the first time he saw Wayne that he was at deaths door and he is happy with the progress that Wayne has made. I took the picture that Tim Keller drew and Anita loved it. She took it to the nurse station and showed everyone. It is now hanging on the wall across from Waynes bed so he can see it. Glad I got to see my brother today. Puts my mind at ease to be able to see him even though it breaks my heart to see him in a bed, with tubes all over. Im just glad he is still here with us. I will keep praying that he makes a full recovery with time. He is a strong man. Thank you all for keeping my brother and our family in your prayers
