Update on Jake: Dr. stopped by to bring us up to speed on several things. Confirmed a blood clot in his right arm. Tests found his kidney functions are low, which means he doesnt qualify to use oral or injectable blood thinners. So, until his kidney functions improve, he will have to do IV blood thinners, which will require up to another 5 days here. He also had an echo done in the last half hour and those results will be read by his care team tomorrow. On a good note, he is craving sushi, so we made it happen for dinner tonight. Enjoying our makeshift date night and remembering it doesnt matter where you are, its who youre with.
