Update on Matthew: 1st off , Matthew is doing fine now. Last night, he fell out of a shopping cart and fractured the back of his skull. CT scans showed no internal bleeding. He knows his name and what color a Zebra is, no signs of memory loss. He was admitted to the hospital for observation to ensure that he did not develop internal bleeding or additional symptoms. He was discharged around noon today. He needs lots of rest, fluids and still needs to be monitored as a precaution. He says, he has a wrolly big headache and requests that no one ask him what color a zebra is anymore. We will follow up with a neurosurgeon in about 4 weeks to ensure proper healing. Until then no intense physical movements, sports, PE, or recess. That will be rough for him. Just glad that the wait is over and he is fine. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Its good to know Im not alone.
