Update on Mom: we are waiting for the doctor to come in to determine the time for surgery. No new news except Mom did ask for pain meds. I am so thankful she told the nurse when she needed pain management. We only cat napped last night so I know she is tired. Dad just walked in. He hasnt slept either. A lot of prayers have been lifted. We know - we can feel them. Please continue to lift them. Please be in prayer for the young people who were playing ball and witnessed the accident. I know it scared them. Specifically pray for the young man who ran into mom. We know this was an accident. Mom and I prayed for him last night. I am sure all those who were involved last night feel a burden about this accident. We know that God was already there, and He is here now. He was in control then, and He is in control now. Things could have been so much worse. I am thankful for praying friends and family. Continue to remember Mom as preparations are made for surgery this morning and the medical team that will be taking care if her. Thank you!
